Exploring Newcastle: 2 months into my new life

Hello everyone,

It’s been a while since I last posted, but it’s been 2 months of getting used to things, lots of reading, getting over jet lag, and getting sick (for reals, I was sick 4 out of the last 7 weeks!) But, now I am feeling much better, still super tired but not jet lag, and I’m preparing to write 4 essays as my end of year exams. Newcastle has been a great city, very welcoming and the perfect weather for me. Not too much rain so far, but I know what’s coming soon. Every weekend for the first month I travelled to London for Church and now I have to opportunity to help plant the Birmingham site of our Church!

I wanted to update everyone on what I plan on doing for the next couple of months regarding this blog and my YouTube channel! I plan on going back to making weekly videos of my adventures around the UK and hopefully Europe. I will also try to start a history vlog. I’m not sure when it will go live since I have a lot of planning to do for it, but it’s going to be awesome (at least to me LOL). I have a lot of planning to do, and much reading and writing to do before January, so I will go ahead and let you all enjoy some photos from my last 2 months in the UK!

XOXO,

Ascenett Stefanie

Blessed: Jesus Is Lord

Proverbs 16:9 “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps.”

Blessed, that is how it feels to know you are following the path The Lord has established for you. August 21st 2016 was the most important day of my life: My baptism and welcome into the Kingdom of God. I will thank God everyday for putting my best friend Lauren in my path during our Disney College Program and bringing me into His Kingdom. #ilovemychurch #oicc #blessed #christian #disciple #blogger #christianblogger #styleblogger #kingdom #baptism #family #bible #community #orlandoblogger #orlando #orlandochurch #friends #bestfriends #proverbs16

Visa Dance!

Y’all!!

I’m just so happy!! My visa arrived this morning and I could not be happier. I took them less than 10 days to get it in NYC, process it, approve it, and send it back to me!!  I feel like a little kid who was just told that everyday is Christmas or that they are going to Disney right now! I am so thankful to God my Lord who always looks after me. My anxiety didn’t have time to actually start thanks to my mind being worried about my surgery, which was good. The whole process of applying for a visa is pretty easy, however you have to make sure all of the documents are correct and that you send it which enough time.

Well everyone, I just want to say that a new video should be coming soon with details about accommodation and visa process to study in the UK. So stay on the lookout. On the meantime take a look at my other videos in my YouTube channel!!

XOXO,

Ascenett

*PS: read the script of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and all I have to say is that I love it and that I can’t wait to see the play. Thank you J.K Rowling!!

Dream Wedding and Changing Colors!

Hello Internet!!!

I am back again here today after a bit of a break. Things at work are changing drastically and I am a mess. Going from one department to another and then waiting on training because everything happened so fast. oh well! What can I do besides wait until September when I take that plane to the UK!!!

Today, I want to talk about the latest video I did (2 weeks ago…SORRY!) about WEDDINGS! I LOVE weddings and everything that has to do with them. From choosing the colors to trying food and making sure the venue is perfect! In the video I talk about how much I want a Royal Wedding including the tiara! Lots of diamonds and no pearls in my wedding. Long mantilla veil is required and I definitely will need a husband with money so that someone can afford the wedding I want LOL! In the video, you will tell how crazy I am about weddings. I have already decided so many things about my wedding, and I don’t even have a boyfriend… that tells you a lot about me. Well, enough writing here is the link to the video. I hope you enjoy the video and tell me all about you dream wedding!

Funding and Going Crazy

Hello Everyone!

So, as you all might know if you have read my blog, I was accepted into Newcastle University for a Masters in European History starting September 2016, so in like 6 months, and as you can tell my the title of this post I am going crazy due to funding. While I got my loans approved, I have to self fund my airfare, visa and health surcharge, and accommodation (housing) deposit. Sooooooo, I have open a GoFund Me account and I am asking for all of the help and assistance I can get.

Send Ascenett to get her Masters in the UK

I am trying to raise at least $1,000 in order to get at least my visa and health surcharge taken care off. I am the sole provider in my home so it can get really tight money wise. That is why I am asking for your help in making my dream of getting my Masters true:) I am providing the link to my account and I hope y’all can help even if its just keeping me in your prayers as any little bit of help and hope helps a long way.

XOXO,

Ascenett
